Lavender Sugar Scrub

exfoliateRegular exfoliation helps to stimulate collagen synthesis to improve the skin’s texture, integrity, and keep the skin looking plump, tight, and young. Here’s a great recipe for a simple sugar scrub. If you have a coconut allergy, you can use any carrier oil such as jojoba oil, almond oil, even extra virgin olive oil. Organic is best!

Ingredients
1 cup of coconut oil
1 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of crushed lavender flowers

Directions

Melt 1/4 of cup of the coconut oil in the microwave. Once melted, combine with the other 3/4 of coconut oil and 1 cup of suger. Use a spoon to mix in the flowers. After it is mixed, scoop it into your glass jar.

Sore Throat Spray

Sage Tea

Ingredients
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Vodka
3 TB Sage Leaf
3TB Peppermint Leaf
1 TB Raw, organic honey

Directions
Bring water to a boil, turn off head, add herbs and steep for 30 minutes. Strain.
Add Vodka and honey to tea infusion, stir well until honey is dissolved.
Place in a dark, glass spray bottle. Label.

To Use: Spray directly onto back of troat as needed to help heal a sore throat.

Safety: Pregnant/Nursing moms substitue Tyme for Sage.

Soothing Baby Tub Tea

Ingredients
Herbs- fresh or dried

1 TB Lavender
1 TV Chamomile
1 TB Callendula
1 TB Rose Buds
1 TB Organic Oatmeal
Muslin Bag or Tea Infuser

Directions

Combine Herbs and place half in a muslin bag or tea infuser. Bring 2 cups water just to boiling point. Add herbs, cover and steep until cool, the longer the better. Strain. Draw a bath for baby and add berbal infusion to the bath water. Bathe baby for 15-20 minutes.

Makes 2 tub teas

Catnip Bug Spray

Catnip
Rosemary Tea

1. Bruise & mash 2 cups of stemmed Catnip & 1 cup
of Rosemary leaves
2. Place into a jar & cover with 2 cups of Almond oil,
or other light carrier oil
3. Secure cheesecloth on the top. Cover with a
paper bag & place in a warm window
4. Give it a stir each day. Love it!
5. Strain the oil & store in a dark glass bottle
6. To use, rub on your skin as needed

Personal Lubricant DIY

Ingredients1 TB fractionated coconut oil
1-2 drops essential oil *optional
Glass jar for storage

Directions

Place the fractioned coconut oil and essential oils in a glass salve jar. Replace the lid and shake to mix. Keep bedside and volia!
Use as much as desired before and during intimacy. Enjoy!

Warning – Coconut oil as a lubricant may impact the effectiveness of condoms!
